Odd One Out — three belong together, one does not

Four names from European basketball. Three of them share something — a club they all played for, a nationality, a shirt number, a Final Four starting five. One does not. Tap the intruder. Five rounds a day, and three right is a pass.

How to play Odd One Out

Frequently asked questions

Can a round have two valid answers?
No, and that is checked rather than hoped for. A round only ships if every connection present in the four names singles out the same intruder.
What connections are used?
A shared club, a nationality, a jersey number, and Final Four starting fives — judged against the same players, careers and lineup data that Connections plays by.
How many do I need for the Daily to count?
Three of five. The pass mark was eased from four after the first weeks made it clear four was punishing for a five-round game.
Is there an unlimited version?
Yes. Practice runs endless rounds and tracks your best streak separately from the Daily.
